Art Talk - English Women Artists from C17 to C21

The Royal Academy was founded in 1768 with 34 members,
of whom only two were women. It took another 186 years
before a third woman Academician was appointed! It seems
that women artists were smudged out of art history.
This illustrated talk is an attempt to redress the imbalance
and show just how talented women were in the art world.
