Your tutor Melanie Beer will guide you through this award winning Country Park and share tips and techniques on recording your impressions in a sketchbook. Throughout the day you will learn methods of composition, perspective and creating tone and contrast. Depending on the weather the course will consist of time working from direct observation in the studio and an opportunity to gently walk and sketch our way around Cockington Court, whilst taking in some of the many beautiful and interesting viewpoints.
Sea Change Craft Studios is set within Cockington’s award winning country park, a paradise of woodland walks. Entrance to Cockington’s Grade II Manor House is free of charge, explore its beautiful walled garden, Norman church, ornamental ponds and a special play area for children of all abilities.
