ROC Creative is the south west’s most exciting arts, media and education project.

ROC Creative is based at the Palace Theatre in Paignton and staffed by specialist practitioners with a wide range of arts interests and professional experience.

ROC Creative currently works in areas as diverse as art, painting, drawing, drama, dance, textiles, sculpture, costume design, mixed media, drumming, photography, jewellery making, singing, video and media production, digital art, animation, samba, music technology, creative writing and digital storytelling.

ROC Creative also offers KAOS, a unique creativity and ideas workshop, which allows people to explore their own creative thinking processes and SYNCRO, a drama and dance project aimed at people who have mobility issues.

Our artists are encouraged to keep individual production journals charting their creative journey and to explore further their own arts practice.

ROC Creative also provides opportunities to work towards accredited learning qualifications in arts specialisms and personal and social development.
