Around and About Bushey
I’m very proud to confirm that one of my original hand-made linocut prints - ‘St James’s Church ‘- has been selected as part of 'Around and About Bushey’' at Bushey Museum and Art Gallery. The exhibition includes a wide range of local views from the 18th century to the present day, in a variety of media.
For those of you who have yet to visit, Bushey Museum is a gem tucked away just off the High Street in Bushey, managed almost entirely by volunteers. It’s a repository of local social history as well as a vibrant series of small galleries with a continuously evolving programme of exhibitions.
My personal favourite is the Kemp-Welch Gallery with it’s large-scale oil paintings of horses by local artist Lucy Kemp-Welch (1869-1958). – another reason to visit soon.
Museum opening times: 11am to 4pm, Thursday to Sunday
