Chris' latest novel - a comedy-drama set in the Holme valley is called 'Cuckoo in the Chocolate'. She is now working on a very different writing project - a 'creative biography' of her Gx3 Grandfather who was Mayor of Stalybridge and one of the first recorded white converts to Islam ... and of how her own brother converted to Islam in 1991 - without knowing anything about their incredible ancestor.
