Come along to our Creative Writers’ Retreat Weekend.
Who: Budding wordsmiths and all those interested in writing. Want to brush up on your penmanship? Want some peace and quiet to get those chapters finished? Want to meet some likeminded creatives? This is your cup of tea!
What: A Writers’ Retreat with a difference. Take in the stunning coastal and countryside surroundings, enjoy the fresh air, get stuck in to some outdoor activities (if you wish) and get that pen to paper.
Where: Cobnor, Chidham, nr Chichester, West Sussex. Cobnor is situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty within Chichester Harbour. See Cobnor Activities Centre for details on the accommodation and see: Chichester Harbour Conservancy for details on the area.
When: Friday August 26th- Sunday August 28th. A bit of work and a lot of fun; what better way is there to spend the August Bank Holiday?
Tickets for Friday evening: £15 to include: Pimm’s reception, informal networking, book signings, writing and publishing talks, relaxing hand massages and an exhibition of coastal art.

Mary Atkinson is a complementary therapist living and working in Chichester. She is author of four best-selling massage books - The Art of Indian Head Massage; Hand and Foot Massage; Practical Guide to Self-Massage, and Healing Touch for Children. Mary runs workshops and home study courses in many aspects of complementary therapy. She recently won the Complementary and Alternative Medicine Outstanding Achievement Award 2010.
• 'Sea Dreams’: Exhibition of Paintings and Illustrations by Lorrie Whittington
• ‘Coast Art’: Exhibition of works inspired by the local coastline and its manmade and natural features by Jan Guest
• Plenty of space to write either outside by the water or in the new classroom, with full IT facilities, including laptops and WIFI access
• Boat trip to a choice of two beautiful locations that are sure to inspire your writing
• Informal kayaking with a qualified instructor - unwind and have a splash around! (numbers and weather permitting)
