Field of View (A Rainy Day near Reading)

In August 2008 I went on a 'painting week' to a village called Mapledurham near Reading. It rained a lot. I worked on this 1m x 1m canvas with acrylics and oilbars in the studio from a few sketches made outdoors. The large tree dominated the view and seemed to be holding its own against the lashing rain.
