VE Day Celebrations

We are celebrating V E Day in two main ways; firstly we will be exhibiting photographs from our archive of World War two and V E Day celebrations. Secondly we will be showing a film of the recollections of local people who were children at the time.
The photographic Exhibition will run from the Anniversary date of the 8th May until the 8th June 2025. The film will also begin showing on the 8th but for the week-end only ending on Sunday the 11th May 2025.
There will be supporting Exhibitions in the Museum during the month of May.
