Commemorating the Great War - Living Poetry
This scripted play revolves around a St Albans community set in 1915. There are various characters representing a cross section of the city’s society and each has a piece of war poetry to deliver which is acted and not read. The poetry itself will be selected from the Great War poets.
Auditions for this production will be held on Thurs 3rd Sept 8pm-10pm and Sat 5th Sept 3pm -5pm at Fleetville Community Centre, Royal Road, St. Albans. Please contact Chris Davies at cged@mac.com for more information and to confirm your attendance at the auditions.
Performances will be on Sat 7th and Weds 11th Nov at the Maltings Theatre, with a possible matinee on Sun 8th Nov at the Cathedral.
