JESS MORGAN Live In Concert

The Blue Walnut are proud to welcome Jess Morgan, she will be here with us on Friday 13th March

Jess is busy making a name for herself as a force to be reckoned with in contemporary indie-folk music. Expect bold, inventive songs which are peppered with influence from British and American Folk as well as country, blues and world music.

2014 saw the release of her ‘Langa Langa’ LP which – a colourful burst of vibrant songs driven by a rhythmic and sensitive guitar-work and vocals which are both warm and distinctive. Morgan’s take on songwriting, musicianship and delivery have won her praise as “something truly special” (Folk Radio UK) and hearty thumbs up from the BBC Radio 2 Folk Show with Mark Radcliffe, Bob Harris Sunday, Tom Robinson’s BBC 6 Mixtape, The Steve Lamacq Show, BBC Wales, BBC Scotland and BBC Northern Ireland.
