Out of Hours: Twixt Two Worlds

For our December event, we take advantage of an out of hours viewing of Towner’s current exhibition, Twixt Two Worlds*. The exhibition considers the transition between still and moving image across photography, magic lantern slides and cinema. Historic objects associated with film and photography sit alongside moving image works by contemporary artists like Douglas Gordon, Saskia Olde Wolbers and Jane & Louise Wilson.
Our final event of 2013 and just a week before Christmas, the evening will end with extra time for informal discussion and festive refreshments.
