is a shop with a unique milieu and a different view on art and tattooing.
Every piece is created custom, tailored for the collector: we take pride of the standard of work we create, and we continually aim to surpass all customers' expectations.
Klaus -the shop owner and main tattooer - has been tattooing since 1993, and still loves this craft as the first day.
Klaus also accept commission for oil portraiture, watercolour or mixed media, has experience as an illustrator and love art projects that involve at times - to step a bit out the tattooing world, having participated in several art collective publications.

Established in 2003 in the heart of Brixton (London) we took our story and experience
to the South West UK in 2013, when we moved to Devon. After 3 years in Paignton (Rose tattoo uk)
we have now located our new premises
in the very heart of Torbay:
right in the centre of Torquay.

Blackline is a custom and appointment based shop, but we always welcome walk-ins subject to availability.

Whether a tattoo virgin or an experienced tattoo collector, we endeavour to let every client leave with a true work of art.
