GPS Drawing with Jeremy Wood
A novel new way to create digital artworks while exploring Letchworth.Jeremy is an artist, mapmaker and pioneer of GPS drawing. For over a decade he has been exploring GPS satellite technology as a tool for digital mark making on water, over land and in the air.
Using your body as a human paintbrush, your personal journey will create a beautiful work of art.
This workshop best suits people over 14 years old. Everyone is welcome, and if younger children would like to take part then please make sure they bring an adult with them.
We will be walking, stomping and weaving across the green spaces of Letchworth so make sure to wear weather appropriate clothing and sturdy shoes.
Visit our website www.fireandfright.com for more images of Jeremy's work, or the artist's website http://www.jeremywood.net/
This event is great for families because it makes your body the paintbrush and will get your family exploring how to use your bodies to create beautiful drawings across Letchworth. Use the space around you like a giant Etch-a-Sketch. You don't need to be brilliant artist to take part and everything you do will create a magical result.
