PERFORM TRANSFORM (Royston Museum)
PERFORM TRANSFORM is a new free arts project taking place in Royston this Autumn and into 2024, that is open to everyone to take part.
A unique project combining dance, film and local heritage is coming to Royston Museum in a bid to explore the changes to the town in the last ten years and what it means to the way people in Royston live and interact today.
It is a project for all generations - suitable for all ages to take part (under 14s to be accompanied by an adult)
What will you be doing?
You will explore the museum and try your hand at some movement and poetry activities. You will get to work alongside professional artists - Jane Turner (dance) and Robert Finlay (film). The Open Make sessions also include an element of storytelling - sharing your experiences of living or working in Royston or surrounding areas.
You can drop in and try any sessions for free this autumn but will then also have the opportunity to find out how you could be part in our final PERFORM TRANSFORM event in 2024 - creating a new installation at Royston Museum.
