PERFORM TRANSFORM (North Herts Museum)

PERFORM TRANSFORM is a new free arts project taking place in Hitchin this Autumn and into 2024, that is open to everyone to take part.

A unique project combining dance, poetry and local heritage is coming to North Hertfordshire Museum in a bid to explore the changes to the town in the last ten years and what it means to the way people in Hitchin live and interact today.

It is a project for all generations - suitable for all ages to take part (under 14s to be accompanied by an adult)

What will you be doing?
You will explore the museum and try your hand at some movement and poetry activities. You will get to work alongside professional artists - Elaine Thomas (dance) and Alison Gibb (visual artist and poet). The Open Make sessions also include an element of storytelling - sharing your experiences of living or working in Hitchin or surrounding areas.

You can drop in and try any sessions for free this autumn but will then also have the opportunity to find out how you could be part in our final PERFORM TRANSFORM event in 2024 - creating a new installation at North Hertfordshire Museum.
