Bagshaw Museum’s popular guided tours continue on Sunday, 4 November, when there will be free tours of the museum in Wilton Park, Batley at 1pm and 2.30pm.
The tours are a fascinating look at the story of the museum – from the building of the magnificent Victorian Gothic mansion as a home for the Sheard family to its transformation into a well-loved museum by Walter Bagshaw.
The tours last approximately 45minutes and are family friendly. Numbers are limited so places should be booked on the day at the museum’s reception desk.
Further tours are scheduled for Sunday 2 December with a new series starting in February next year.
