As part of UK Fungus Day, families can explore the rich variety of fungus in Wilton Park, Batley, on Sunday, 7 October.
They can join Patrick Crowley, from Kirklees Parks & Greenspaces, at Bagshaw Museum for an illustrated talk followed by a stroll around the park to discover the fungi on our doorstep. The slideshow starts at 1pm and the walk will start from the museum at 2pm.
No booking is required and all ages are welcome to join in this event which is part of the ‘Seasonal Bagshaw’ programme. Participants are asked not to bring dogs.
