Come join us for Artsmatrix LIVE where we will be streaming Illustrator Jonny Hannah. Hosted in Plymouth and available at the Exeter Phoenix and Bristol Spike Island via our interactive technology.

Jonny Hannah studied at the Cowdenbeath College of Knowledge, Liverpool Art School & then the Royal College of Art. For the last twelve years he has been a freelance illustrator, & is represented by the Heart Agency. His many clients include The Sunday Telegraph, The New York Times & The St. Kilda Courier.

In 2000, a collaborative animation project with Jonathan Hodgson resulted in The Man with the Beautiful Eyes, a five-minute animated adaptation of A Charles Bukowski poem. And 2005 saw the release of his only childrens picture book, Hot Jazz Special, which the late, great George Melly described as A beautiful book.

Any spare minute is spent working on new projects for his own Cakes & Ale Press, busily creating books, posters, prints & occasionally teatowels. He happily lives in Southampton, with Sharon & their two bairns, & is Course Leader for the Illustration BA at Southampton Solent School of Art & Design. Jonny enjoys nothing better than going to his studio in the Arches, to illustrate, paint & savour the odd Tunnocks Caramel Wafer with a fresh cup of coffee.
