Freelance Creative Producer (October 2019-June 2020)
Arts and Culture, University of Exeter, is seeking a freelance creative producer to successfully project manage one Arts Commission and three Creative Fellowships over the academic year 2019-20.
Launched in October 2018, the Arts and Culture Strategy aims to ‘place creativity at the heart of all we think, imagine and do together’. Two of our major programmes are Arts Commissions, currently an 18-month scheme exploring the theme of ‘Urgency’, and annual Creative Fellowships, where a creative practitioner is embedded in a University of Exeter research institute or cross-disciplinary group for 4-5 weeks.
The creative producer will project manage the Art Commission and Creative Fellows, supporting the creative practitioners in realising their ambitions for their work. The timeline, including the creation and dissemination of work, runs from October 2019 to June 2020.
We are a small, highly-motivated team who are passionate about the arts and we look forward to welcoming a creative producer to join us in realising our strategic aims, supporting artistic practice and development, and building links between the university and broader communities.
The fee for the creative producer is up to £9,000, plus VAT and agreed expenses.
