Formerly a soldier and now a practising artist, Tony’s work responds to his experiences of conflict and the extremes of the human situation - in particular how our bodies are shaped by and carry all our experiences, then communicate them.

He works primarily in drawing, painting in oils and printmaking and has extended his practice with non-figurative subjects in three dimensional works, as alternative ways to investigate the subject.

‘Endeavour’ reflects on strength, resilience and endeavour- the human traits that people draw on to survive and often thrive in challenging circumstances.
A combination of recent experiments, this work encourages viewers to consider their immediate emotional impact and the narrative they create in response to it.
