Following last year’s Christmas Alternative Market, Kirklees Council is already well underway with plans for the Easter Alternative Market. Taking place on Saturday 4 April at St Peters Gardens in Huddersfield from 11am-5pm, the market offers a fantastic opportunity to young people aged 13-29 to showcase their creative products and talents.
The Alternative Market team are looking for designers / makers / bakers / artists / photographers / up-cyclers / or anyone else who is creative... as well as singers / rappers / dancers / performers /comedians – aged 13-29 to take part.
Organisers expect to have a range of arts, crafts, clothing and gifts, as well as food and drink, live music and street theatre.
