I have been painting since I was a child but the only formal training that I have had is an A in O Level Art (does anyone remember what that is?) and evening classes. I have sold a number of paintings and have received many commissions (including a WW2 Spitfire in flight - what was I thinking!). However mostly I paint for my own enjoyment. Animals and wildlife give me the greatest pleasure but I always enjoy a challenge so I do dabble in other subjects.

I am married to Jack - the Rocking Horse Man at Cockington - and help with the painting of new and restored horses whenever I can.
