Wuthering Heights
Emily Brontë’s gothic tale of love and revenge adapted by April De Angelis for today’s audiences. A fluid, energising piece of theatre from the Company of Ten set in the Yorkshire Moors; a constant and symbolic presence in the story of Cathy and Heathcliff.
De Angelis’ adaption is a fluid and energising piece of theatre. It is one of the versions most faithful to Bronte’s masterpiece, and has been described by The Journal as ‘sensitive and yet highly innovative’ and a play which ‘will not leave fans disappointed, while Brontë virgins might well find themselves converted.’
Performances at 8pm, with a matinee on Sunday 17 November at 2.30pm
Tickets: £10.25 - £12.25 (concessions £9.25 - £11.25)
