"The Hotel Wall" is one of two oil paintings that I have created so far as a self assigned project to keep me producing art work over Summer, whilst away from university.
This piece is textured using hay and is inspired by a scene from the novel "The Shining" by Stephen King.
Over summer I hope to produce a collection of paintings to work from on a larger scale next year, the whole point being that I will be testing a variety of colours, textures and processes for reference at a later stage.
