This one day, intensive course is designed for those who are interested in the nuts and bolts of writing and should act as a creative springboard for writers, beginners and those with some experience, to go on and develop their own work.

Through a series of exciting and enjoyable exercises you will be encouraged to think about plot, character and voice. Penelope Bush will use her experience as a successful writer of teen novels to:

• Guide you in finding ideas for your plot
• Show you how to make your characters come alive
• Provide tips on how to find your own voice and that of your character

While the course focuses on fiction for the Young Adult market, the skills developed will easily translate into other areas of fiction writing.
